One last cup of Joe party collateral

A close friend moved from San Francisco to Philadelphia to be with his now fiancee. He wanted to send an invite out for his going away party as well as create coasters to use at the party. I wanted to highlight the transition this friend was making through the design.

I thought about how the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, just like how his life in San Francisco was coming to a close, and a new adventure in Philadelphia was just getting started. The color palettes on each side of the design represents this thinking, with the golden orange on the San Francisco side representing a sunset and the end of his time in the city, and the light blue palette on the Philadelphia side representing the dawning of his new journey. Featuring the Golden Gate Bridge and the Liberty Bell, major landmarks in San Francisco and Philadelphia respectively, as graphic elements reminds us of these two cities that my friend calls home.
